The Chatham Archive & Document Storage Company was incorporated in 1993 with the specific aim of establishing a high security archive and document storage company in Anchor Wharf, a 176,000 sq ft storage facility that was purpose built by the Royal Navy to meet its small item storage requirements.

The Company implements the prestigious BS7799 Information Security Standard. This standard, which is the most comprehensive available, sets out the best practice for information security management, distribution and archiving of confidential data.

We were registered to BS7799:1999 by SGS, the world's largest certification body, on 31st July 2001, and subsequently to BS7799-2:2002 in October 2003.

The Company is located in Chatham's old Royal Navy dockyard. This dockyard was used by the Royal Navy from 1547 until 1983. It has since been renamed 'The Historic Dockyard'.

Chatham is 45 minutes drive from the City, 40 minutes from Sevenoaks, 20 from Maidstone and 40 from Canterbury. By rail, it is only 43 minutes from Cannon Street station and 45 minutes from Victoria with half-hourly services.
